The finished piece before final cleanup and framing

Here's a shot of the completed piece before final cleanup and framing in oak.I puttied this piece, which is normally something  I don't do as it's a really messy process. Also,  for decorative panels, that aren't being subjected to the elements, it isn't always necessary.

Anyhow, I decided to do it for this one, plus the brushing of the lead/solder gave it a very nice patina. I plan on framing it tomorrow just in time for Mom's birthday.
