Lead Work shows the challenge

As I suspected the lead work will be a challenge. The sail boat body is proving difficult. I had to walk away for a bit. I've also discovered that I have made some of the cuts too narrow and have broken some pieces trying to piece it together.

I've one piece that doesn't even fit (even though it fits the pattern) so I have to re-cut and try to fit a different piece in. I've put in the top sails so you can get an idea of what the boat will look like. Here's a close up.

The mainsail is going to be a challenge not to break. I will have to be very careful. If you look at the waves you'll see where I have to use foil to capture solder as I was unable to fit the lead in. Also the top right piece is now too big due to the lead in the boat making it bigger than the plan (Even though I accounted for the lead lines in the plan).

I'll get this completed over the holidays. I've been here before. I know it will work out.
