Updated Photo. Unit Installed
I got tired of piling glass like stacks of paper and having my supplies spread around my workshop. So I decided to build a storage unit for my glass. I'm about 70% there. The bottom part is for glass and the top for tools, solder, etc. I'm going to put doors on the top at both ends and leave the center section open.
It will be hung on the wall using a french cleat. The unit is made from 3/4 plywood, rabbit joints at the corners and the main bracing is dadoed. It is very solid and I believe a cleat is all that is necessary to hang it. If it isn't it will be braced from the bottom as well. Time will tell.
